100% milk from neighboring pastures

Monteur chose the freshest and tastiest milk. Freshly-milked milk is brought from neighboring pastures, every single day.

Monteur has milk plants within its compound and makes its own pasteurized milk. Fresh milk directly delivered there on a pipeline is pasteurized and homogenized, then sent directly to sweets production lines. The pipeline is sealed to avoid outside exposure. It's tasty and hygienic and totally safe.

What's pasteurized milk?

Freshly-milked milk can finally be used as milk after it is pasteurized. For tasty milk, the temperature of pasteurization is the key. Generally, there are two pasteurization methods. Very high temperature, quick pasteurization is one way. The other is low temperature and thorough pasteurization. Now, let's see how these two ways of pasteurization are different.

Low temperature pasteurization: at 65ºC for 30 minutes to maintain flavor/High temperature pasteurization: at 130ºC for 2 seconds, resulting in lost flavor

The most common method of high temperature pasteurization is efficient as it takes less time. However, this method results in a charred odor due to high temperature and the original flavor of the milk is lost.

At Monteur, to retain the original flavor of milk, high quality freshly-milked milk is heated at 65ºC for 30 minutes to create low temperature pasteurized milk, which is very tasty and smooth.

Eggs from nearby poultry farms, cracked under the latest hygiene standards, are then sent to the factory and used as ingredients in various sweets.

The choicest desserts require the choicest ingredients.

Even though Monteur sweets are inexpensive, they taste rich. Hmm, how's that possible? It seems they are committed to the "choicest milk and eggs!"
