1954 Founded Suzuki Confectionery Ltd.(Senju, Adati-ward)
1957 Our head office moved to Shimane, Adati-ward
1964 Head office newly built on 10th Anniversary
Corporate name changed to Suzuki Confectionery Co., Ltd.
1969 Completion of Yashio factory(Yashio-city, Saitama)
1973 Awarded 18th National Confectionery Expo President's Prize(Baum kuchen)
1975 Changed corporate name to MONTEUR Co., Ltd. and shifted to the Western confectioneries business
1977 Renovated Head office factory
1984 Awarded 20th National Confectionery Expo President's Prize(Brandy cake)
1985 Consolidated corporate image strategy as part of 30th Anniversary Founding event
1989 Completion of new Yashio factory
1990 Adopted HACCP system (to enter chilled dessert market)
1991 Entered chilled dessert market
Began chilled dessert sales with "Chiisana Yougashi Ten" (Fresh made Confectionery store) brand

1997 Completion of farm-fresh facility Tsukuba factory at Iwai-city (now Bando-city), Ibaraki-prefecture(about 5600m2)
Milk plant established and promoted commitment to freshness and ingredients
Reduced major ingredient containers (emissions control) as environmentally-conscious firm
1998 Awarded 23rd National Confectionery Expo Honorary President's Prize(Petit Cream Puffs)
1999 Became first in industry to install HACCP automated surveillance system
Became first in industry to install automatic egg yolk supply system; emissions control enforced
2000 HACCP Certification by Ibaraki-prefecture Food Hygiene Association
Became first in industry to install automatic whip cream supply system
Installed automatic sugar supply system
2001 Factory production base and distribution center centralization with completion of Tsukuba #2 factory(about 7800m2)
Installed gas heat pumps and ice thermal storage system as energy saving measures

Awarded Kikka Glory Prize("Super Thick Baum Kuchen")
2009 Completion of Yashio Office; management functions centralized
"Super Thick Baumkuchen" won the Grand Gold of Medal of 2009 Monde Selection.
2010 "Super Thick Baumkuchen" won the Grand Gold of Medal of 2010 Monde Selection.
"Super Thick Baumkuchen" also received the International High Quality Trophy of Monde Selection for winning Gold Medal for three consecutive years. (2008, 2009 and2010)
2011 "Mellow classic cake-Brandy" won the Gold Award of 2011 Monde Selection.
2012 Tsukuba factory gained HACCP Certification by Ibaraki Prefecture
Tsukuba factory and Minokamo factory both gained AIB Superior Rating.
Minokamo factory gained it for 4th Straight year.
Tsukuba factory adopted the co-generation system of electricity by using LNG, eco-friendly gas.
"Mellow classic cake-Brandy" won the Gold Award of 2012 Monde Selection.
2013 Our Minokamo factory was awarded a superior rating (top rating) by AIB for five consecutive years.
"Mellow classic cake-Brandy" won the Gold Award of 2013 Monde Selection.
"Mellow classic cake-Brandy" also received the International High Quality Trophy of Monde Selection for winning Gold Medal for three consecutive years. (2011,2012 and 2013)
2014 Completion of Soja factory at Soja-shi, Okayama-prefecture(about 16000m2)
Renewed Corporate mark and brand logo at 60th Founding Anniversary event.
Tsukuba factory and Minokamo factory both gained AIB Superior Rating.
Minokamo factory gained it for 6th Straight year.
"Mellow classic cake-Chocolate" and ”Baum Kuchen-Belgiun chocolate" won the Gold Award of 2014 Monde Selection.
2015 Our Minokamo factory was awarded a superior rating (top rating) by AIB for seven consecutive years.
"Baumkuchen", ”Baumkuchen-Belgium chocolate” and "Mellow premium cake-Macha" won the Gold Award of 2015 Monde Selection.
"Mellow classic cake-Chocolate" received the International High Quality Trophy of Monde Selection for winning Gold Medal for three consecutive years. (2013, 2014 and 2015)
2016 Minokamo Factory gained HACCP Cartification by Gifu Prefecture
"Baumkuchen" won the Grand Gold Medal of 2016 Monde Selection.
"Baumkuchen-Belgium chocolate” and “Mellow classic cake-Chocolate“ won the Gold Medal of 2016 Monde Selection.
All three factories gained AIB Superior Rating. Minokamo factory gained it for eight consecutive years.
2017 Minokamo factory gained AIB Superior Rating.
Minokamo factory gained it for 9th Straight year.
"Baumkuchen" won the Gold Award of 2017 Monde Selection.
"Baumkuchen" received the International High Quality Trophy of Monde Selection for winning Gold Medal for three consecutive years. (2015, 2016 and 2017)
2018 Minokamo factory and Soja factory both gained AIB Superior Rating.
Minokamo factory gained it for 10th Straight year.
"Mellow classic cake-Brandy" won the Gold Award of 2018 Monde Selection.
Moved to present location(Our head office moved to Yashio, Saitama Pref.)
2019 "Mellow classic cake-Brandy" won the Gold Award of 2019 Monde Selection.
All three factories gained certificate of conformity of JFS-B standard which is the food safety management standard developed by JFSM.
2020 "Mellow classic cake-Brandy" won the Gold Award of 2020 Monde Selection.
